Job Description Teaching Assistant – SEN (SEMH & ASD) Location : Ealing, West London Start Date : September 2025 Pay : £88.82 – £100 PAYE Hours : Full-time (Mon–Fri) – Hours 8.45 am to 3.45 pm Contract : Temp‑to‑perm, with full training and progression opportunities Zest Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support young people with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You’ll be part of a nurturing, reflective team in Ealing, helping students—many of whom have overcome tough upbringings—build confidence, independence, and life skills. What you’ll do :
- Provide classroom support and one-to-one mentoring for students with varied and complex needs
- Act as a positive role model, helping young people manage emotions and behaviours
- Assist in implementing individualised plans and adapting learning materials
- Engage in practitioner-led research, reflective practice, and collaborative team planning Who we’re looking for :
