Job Title : Auto Electrician (Bus Fleet) Location : Newcastle Salary : £40,000 - £45,000 per annum About the Role : We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Newcastle, specializing in the maintenance and repair of 24-volt electrical systems on a fleet of buses. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a busy, modern workshop environment, ensuring our vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities : Diagnose, maintain, and repair 24-volt electrical systems on buses Inspect and troubleshoot wiring, lighting, batteries, starters, alternators, and other electrical components Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and perform repairs Maintain accurate service records and documentation Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards Work closely with the engineering team to ensure fleet reliability and availability Participate in ongoing training to stay current with technological advancementsRequirements : Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably with heavy vehicles or buses Strong knowledge of 24-volt electrical systems and diagnostics Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills Relevant qualifications in automotive electrical systems or equivalent experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to health and safety standardsWhat We Offer : Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Permanent, full-time position Supportive and professional working environment Opportunities for training and career progression Pension and other benefitsHow to Apply : If you are a qualified Auto Electrician looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the Newcastle area, please send your CV or contact Niki on (phone number removed) for further information
