Zest Education is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Stafford, and we are looking to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. About the Role : This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and eager to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities :
- Supporting pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Providing tailored support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Preparing classroom resources and supporting lesson planning when required About You : We are looking for someone who is :
- Passionate about helping young people thrive
- Confident and calm when working with secondary-age pupils
- Able to build positive relationships with both staff and students
- Proactive, flexible, and reliable
- Previous school experience is desirable, but not essential – training can be provided for the right candidate Requirements :
- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
