About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Vendor Manager to take ownership of partner relationships and day-to-day business performance, including KPIs, revenue, and profit targets on a 12 month contract . In this role, you will develop and execute channel strategies to grow Partner Sourced Pipeline through both existing and new reseller partnerships. Acting as the go-to expert in your designated vendor technology, you will provide strategic sales support, guide partners on business growth plans, and take commercial responsibility for developing and closing opportunities. As the Vendor Manager, you will :
Product focus of
1-2 Vendors
Understand where the vendor complements the partner’s existing
Portfolio.
Promote complementary Vendor solutions and articulate the
Exclusive Networks value proposition.
Working to achieve individual and team targets against agreed profit
requirements.
Key contact for the specified vendors within your remit, developing relationships at all levels of the Vendor organisation and being an extension of the vendor.
Training and enablement of EXN Sales and technical teams, ensuring any accreditations are maintained.
Annual and quarterly business planning and review meetings with
vendors
Managing key accounts alongside the Account
Managers
Work closely with the internal & external sales teams to set and co-ordinate partner meetings
Proactively work with the channel team & marketing teams
to :
Recruit, enable and drive new
resellers
Develop end user lead generation programs with
resellers
Implement sales & technical training
programs
Ensure internal systems are update
with vendor pricelists, collateral
discount structures and processes.
Producing monthly sales forecast reports and statistics for EXN & Vendor management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal Vendor Manager :
Experienced in a business
environment with a proven track record of 3-5 years working with Vendors.
Organised, structured, and efficient in your work, with good attention to
detail
Flexibility, and the ability to work successfully in various
environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills
Experienced presenting to senior level
