Account Manager

25k plus £5k Bonus

Are you looking for a job that allows you to travel the world with all expenses paid? The role offers 6 international trips per year, starting with Ibiza in May 2025. Whether you're a recent graduate with limited sales experience but confidence, or a seasoned business development professional, this could be the lifestyle change you're seeking.

The company, established in 1984, creates industry magazines driven by passion. The Account Manager will work with a luxury hotel industry magazine distributed internationally to interior designers.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales.

Duties include :

  • Attending 6 international trade shows annually in the USA and Singapore
  • Introducing the magazine to food and drink manufacturers and collecting leads
  • Emailing new leads and sending media packs
  • Using LinkedIn to connect with new leads

Key Accountabilities :

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets for the magazine
  • Generating and developing new business and managing existing database
  • Liaising externally with clients via email, telephone, social media, and face-to-face at industry events
  • Reporting to the Advertising Manager, the candidate will develop relationships with clients to maximize magazine sales revenue.

    Essential Requirements :

  • Excellent communication skills (email, telephone, social media, face-to-face)
  • Strong people skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Sales letter and proposal writing skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and good computer literacy
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, GCSE level or above
