Programme Head – Workplace and Construction
Overview :
A leading media and entertainment organisation is looking for a Programme Head to lead workplace and construction projects that shape exceptional environments for employees. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, flexible spaces that support productivity, well-being, and sustainability. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in project delivery, a passion for outstanding workplace design, and the leadership skills to drive complex construction programmes from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the successful delivery of workplace and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments including strategy, commercial, IT, broadcast, and external consultants to ensure requirements are fully understood and integrated into project briefs.
- Uphold compliance and governance by maintaining project processes, toolkits, and trackers; ensure effective project documentation and transparent reporting.
- Champion best practices in workplace design and project management, contributing to a world-class delivery approach.
- Oversee and support change management initiatives tied to workplace transformation, ensuring seamless adoption by colleagues.
- Support the Head of Projects & PMO in strategic planning, process improvement, and team development.
What You’ll Bring :
Proven experience in project management and team leadership, particularly across workplace and construction initiatives.Deep understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work and UK construction regulations, health & safety legislation, and commercial project delivery.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of motivating cross-functional teams and external specialists.Organised, proactive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to navigate challenges in fast-moving environments.Passion for designing and delivering environments that elevate user experience and productivity.A relevant degree in Construction, Workplace Design, Surveying, or Project Management, ideally working towards a professional qualification (e.g., RICS, APM, ARB).Team & Culture :
