The Pointer School is an independent prep and pre-prep school located in Blackheath, South East London. We are seeking an inspirational, dedicated, and enthusiastic Marketing & Events Assistant to join our thriving school community.
The successful candidate will have a passion for marketing, a commitment to the school ethos, and coaching experience in at least two sports. The role involves assisting the Business Manager with all aspects of marketing and will be supported by our external marketing team. Responsibilities include social media posting, content creation, and supporting future admissions. Event responsibilities encompass administering key school events, including planning and liaising with event leaders. The candidate should have keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
This position starts in September 2025 and is part-time, working two days per week. Normal working hours are 08 : 30 to 16 : 30, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
The Pointer School is a Real Living Wage employer. The annual salary for this role is £20,000-£22,000 (pro-rata for part-time), depending on experience and qualifications.
The Pointer School is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of students and young people.
