Position Summary :
We are seeking a driven Project Manager (PjM) to join our team in Norfolk, VA. The PjM will oversee daily operations and manage projects and personnel, leading a team of LCE employees to achieve high productivity, results, and engagement. The role involves interfacing with customers to understand project requirements, ensuring successful project delivery, and supporting business growth. The PjM is responsible for executing profitable projects and contractual obligations, and may assist with capture and proposal development.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
Build and maintain credibility with clients, partners, and the organization through technical expertise.Support business development efforts, including proposals and presentations.Serve as the primary contact for contract execution.Maintain project information in CRM systems.Capture success metrics and stories.Develop solutions based on customer needs.Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and are within budget using business management tools.Achieve financial and business objectives for projects.Ensure compliance with company and legal guidelines, emphasizing safety.Communicate organizational goals and priorities effectively.Participate in hiring and team development activities.Lead change management and foster employee growth through mentoring and recognition.Work under the supervision of a Program Manager, attending project and internal meetings.Assist in project scope and budget development.Required Education, Skills, and Experience :
Minimum of ten years in government / defense contracting, including five in management roles.Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.Experience with Navy shipboard maintenance preferred.Strong communication skills.Team-oriented with proactive initiative.Professional demeanor and reliability.Enthusiastic and persistent in achieving objectives.This description summarizes the main duties and requirements.
