Head of Sales - Energy Transition

Site or Home-based or hybrid with travel

Full-time | Permanent

c. £70000 - £80000 + Bonus, Healthcare, Pension, LA

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Head of Sales

to lead business development and commercial strategy within the rapidly evolving clean energy space. This is a senior-level position reporting directly to the Group Sales Director, with a key focus on driving revenue growth across sectors such as

Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Energy from Waste, SAF, Fuel Switching, and Nuclear SMRs .

Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow business in the

Energy Transition sector

with a focus on immediate, funded projects.

Drive business development, account leadership, and solution delivery across CO? Capture, Hydrogen, SAF, and related sectors.

Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances.

Shape and execute a compelling Go-To-Market strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.

Maintain accurate CRM reporting and pipeline forecasting.

Support proposal development, commercial reviews, and contract negotiations.

Act as a thought leader and brand ambassador through industry events, networking, and professional forums.

Requirements

Essential :

Experience in a similar senior sales role within the

Energy or Clean Tech sector .

Proven success in selling complex, technical solutions to industrial clients.

Strong understanding of

automation systems

e.g., PLCs, SCADA, Variable Speed Drives, Smart Solutions).

Demonstrable experience in managing high-value deals and building senior-level client relationships.

Desirable :

Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

Experience with system integration companies.
