Role : Flexible or Full Time Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities include :

  • Supporting Learning : Work alongside teachers to assist in the delivery of lessons, adapting materials and activities to meet the individual needs of students.
  • One to One Support : Provide tailored support to students, offering encouragement and guidance to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Behavior Management : Foster a supportive and positive learning environment by implementing behaviour management strategies and offering emotional support to students as needed.
  • Effective Communication : Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the care and education of students, sharing insights and observations to inform support strategies.
  • Assist in monitoring Progress : Assist in the assessment of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Promote inclusion : Champion the principles of inclusion and diversity within the school community, celebrating the unique strengths and contributions of every student.
