Job description

Were seeking a highly motivated Senior Drainage Engineer to join our clients growing infrastructure team in Derby.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in infrastructure drainage design to contribute to major projects.

The role :

To work independently and as part of a team.

To organise, control and manage contracts within the Drainage team.

Preparation of Surface and Foul Water drainage designs, at outline strategy, detailed planning, and construction phases including drawings, calculations, and reporting.

Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments for planning purposes.

Undertake site visits, walkover inspections and investigations.

Liaise with clients, developers and architects, as well as other design team members. Provide written and verbal communications as well as attending meetings as requested.
