Duties and responsibilities related to the Commis Pastry role

• Assist in preparing and baking breads, pastries, cakes, and other items.
• Accurately measure and prepare ingredients as per recipes and schedules.
• Support doughs, batters, fillings, and shaping under supervision.
• Operate mixers, ovens, and other bakery equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor ingredient quality and freshness.
• Support proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation.
• Report low inventory or equipment issues.
• Work cooperatively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Eagerly learn from senior chefs and respond well to feedback.

About you

As a Commis Pastry, you will play a key supporting role in the daily production of high-quality baked goods, assisting senior pastry chefs and bakers in preparing a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts.
