As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' facilities and equipment.
Job Summary :
We're looking for a talented and versatile Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of plant, equipment, and building services. If you have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, electrical and mechanical competences, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving equipment performance
- Conduct fault-finding on all types of machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes
- Write and follow risk assessments and method statements, ensuring a safe and accurate working environment
- Use mobile devices to accurately project and complete works from the CAFM maintenance system
- Liaise with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues
- Deputise for the shift leader during annual leave or sickness
- Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends
Requirements :
Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineeringStrong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance experienceElectrical competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th EditionMechanical competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's MechanicalGood multi-skilled ability, with experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and invertersHydraulic and pneumatic experienceAbility to fault-find and diagnose PLC systemsNVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and MechanicalAbility to supervise contractors and write risk and method statementsDesirable :
