As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at Honeywell, in the Southwest, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, undertaking electrical and mechanical building service Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) along with plumbing and HVAC works, and ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed as per Honeywell guidelines. This is a field-based role working at client sites across the Southwest, including Bristol, Bath, Trowbridge, and other areas across Wiltshire and Dorset.

Key responsibilities

  • Prioritize and undertake reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to ensure optimal service delivery, in line with task schedules and reactive maintenance requirements.
  • Install new M&E equipment as required, including minor new works, refurbishment, and capital works replacement programs; respond to site callouts and cover emergencies as necessary.
  • Identify faults and provide quotations for remedial works.
  • Install and repair plant as required, acting promptly and effectively on reactive maintenance issues and requests.
  • Maintain a customer focus in all operational activities and build effective relationships with key client contacts.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Experience in building maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, with City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in electrical services / maintenance.
  • Knowledge of health and safety, including lone working requirements.
  • Customer service experience and strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Full UK driving license.
