Assistant Finance Business Partner | East Leeds | Up to £40,000 | Hybrid (after training) Role Overview Axon Moore is delighted to be working with a longstanding client based in East Leeds to appoint an Assistant Finance Business Partner. The business is going through a period of growth, and as such they are looking to strengthen their Finance Team. We are looking for AAT Qualified or part-qualified ACCA / CIMA accountant who has had experience of supporting with P&L, cost and revenue management and some FP&A tasks. You will report to the Head of Finance and you will assist with financial control, setting up processes and systems. As well as developing internal and external relationships throughout the wider group network to ensure that financial objectives are achieved. Key responsibilities : Timely completion of the weekly KPI’s and spend analysis Liaise with regional managers to ensure weekly agreed staffing levels are accurate and submitted on a weekly basis Working closely with budget holders to ensure that they understand their budgets Analysing weekly admission and discharges for weekly reporting Preparing occupancy analysis for bimonthly board meetings Visiting homes to understand current staffing requirements versus dependency tool to explain differences Assist with the staff budget setting for new cost centres Assisting with all admin aspects of the commissioning and setting up of new cost centres Assisting with ad hoc investigation and / or preparing business cases for cost centre performance Establishing good working relationships with our cost centre managers and professional bodies Ensuring confidentiality in line with GDPR Professional qualification and competencies : AAT Qualified or part qualified ACCA / CIMA. Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and vlookups. Excellent communication skills, able to converse confidently and concisely. Ability to prioritise workloads and achieve tight deadlines working in a high-pressure environment Excellent attention to detail. Able to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
