Building Control Team Leader (Principal Inspector) - RBIs Location : Essex (Hybrid) Salary : Negotiable MMP is currently working with our client, a Local Authority in Essex, who is seeking a Building Control Team Leader (Principal Inspector) RBIs to join their team! Purpose of the Job : To support the Building Control Manager in delivering my client's Building Control responsibilities with excellence and efficiency. You will take the lead in managing daily technical operations, offering expert advice, overseeing special or major projects, and driving partnership initiatives. Your work will be pivotal in safeguarding the health, safety, welfare, and convenience of individuals in and around all types of buildings, achieved through the diligent application of the Building Regulations, associated legislation, and recognised standards. Principal Accountabilities : Lead Daily Operations Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the Building Control service in support of the Building Control Manager. This includes allocating and supervising workloads, managing customer enquiries and complaints, and contributing to performance reporting. Ensure all activities align with the requirements of the Building Safety Act, the Building Safety Regulator, and my client's Quality Management System.
