Job Description

We are seeking a flexible and adaptable Secondary Supply Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of subjects and year groups in the absence of regular teaching staff. The role involves following lesson plans, maintaining classroom discipline, and supporting student learning in line with school policies. Ideal candidates will have strong classroom management skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with students.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
  • Adapt to different school settings and follow school-specific policies.
  • Provide feedback to permanent teaching staff on student progress and behavior.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility to work at short notice.
