Private Client Paralegal / Fee Earner

30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)

A Chambers-listed Legal 500 firm in Reading is seeking a Private Client Paralegal / Fee Earner to join its highly regarded and expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers on high-net-worth estate planning, wills and probate matters.

The Role :

You will support the Department Manager and two Fee Earners with a varied caseload across the full range of Private Client work , including :

• Drafting simple Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Assisting with Probate Administration from start to finish : preparing forms, liaising with clients and institutions and supporting estate distribution
• Producing legal documents and correspondence
• Managing telephone enquiries and general client communication
• Setting up new files and opening matters accurately and efficiently
• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the team
