    GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Derby . This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to help students develop confidence and proficiency in mathematics.

    Role Overview :

    As a Maths Teacher , you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages. You will foster critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and a love for learning in every pupil.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support and challenge pupils of all abilities to reach their potential.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing effective feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.
  • Participate in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.

    • Requirements for Maths Teacher :

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable.
  • Have experience teaching Mathematics in secondary schools is desirable.
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
