Job descriptionLead and coordinate projects with high-quality technical design. Produce technical design documents (sketches, calculations, specifications, and reports). Review and approve reports, designs, and calculations per quality procedures. Conduct structural surveys and provide findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Communicate effectively with clients, authorities, and the design team. Plan site investigations and prepare reports. Attend and record actions in design and site meetings. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent qualification). Competent in designing structures in concrete, steelwork, timber and masonry. Able to use computer design software packages. Good understanding of CDM regulations and responsibilities of a designer. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Chartered Engineer. Must ideally be 3-4 years post chartership, with building experience.

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a leading Civil and Structural engineering company, in a permanent position. You will be required to work in a hybrid arrangement from our clients Edinburgh office.

- Competitive salary from £42,000-£58,000 (depending on experience).
