We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our dynamic team in Teesport. This role involves transporting goods across the UK, ensuring safe, timely deliveries, and maintaining high professional standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role and hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport goods to various locations, ensuring all deliveries are on time.
- Complete vehicle checks before departure to ensure it is roadworthy.
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and other necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service while delivering goods to clients.
- Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure all goods are handled and delivered in line with safety and quality standards.
