Hays are proud to be partnering exclusively with a highly regarded business in search of a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and dynamic team. This position offers approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility when these hours are worked (eg 3 longer days or 4 / 5 shorter days).

Your new role

You’ll be a key support within the accounts department, working closely with the Food team across a variety of finance and administrative functions, including :

• Processing food invoices and reconciling supplier statements
• Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
• Assisting in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the stock management system
• Creating and analysing food costings to support business decisions
• Liaising with food stakeholders and supporting general admin tasks
• Providing holiday cover for purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll as needed
