The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking an Account Executive to join our team in Montana. Our mission is to make every building we touch more efficient. Energy efficiency in any built environment is critical—not just to the bottom line of the owner, but to the well-being of the planet.

Business Development

  • Coordinate with your sales team to support consultative relationships with clients.
  • Review and discuss findings and reports with your sales team and customers to :
  • Drive further opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a sales plan for identifying energy retrofit project opportunities and other services.
  • Coordinate and perform duties such as lead generation, customer service, proposal development, customer acquisition, and project start-up.
  • Respond to requests for proposals and qualifications.
  • Support project development, including proposal creation, maintaining customer relationships, and partnering with internal resources.
  • Client Relations

  • Support and develop consultative relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Utilize McKinstry's tools and processes to support our customer relationship strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure systems, facility management, and critical facilities such as data centers.
  • At least one year of experience in financial / performance contracting, including leadership, sales, and marketing in an energy services organization.
  • Applicable professional affiliations preferred.
