Role Overview :
In the role of Production Manager, you will be responsible for the production process within the Manufacturing Operations at Sony UKTec. You will lead a highly motivated team to produce a variety of complex products in small & large batch sizes whilst maintaining the highest quality supply to professional and consumer markets. You will be expected to deliver on agreed daily, weekly & monthly Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s) in addition to creating and delivering strategies in line with the mid-range Plan. Building relationships and networks both internally and externally is essential to success within this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Overseeing the production process and team, including Shift Operations.
- Job control and schedule delivery.
- Collating and reporting KPIs relevant to the manufacturing operation
- Data analysis with the initiative to improve process’.
- Creating operational standards and adhering to existing standards resulting in the production of the highest quality products.
- Liaising with several supporting departments, e.g. Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.
- Reviewing team and individual performance and identifying training needs.
- Coaching and mentoring of team.
- Performance Management.
- Coordinating manning and flexibility to support changes in production quantity.
- Maintaining engagement and motivation levels within the team.
- Leading training programs in line with new technologies.
