• Day or night shifts available Our client, a leading independent reputable company, is seeking an experienced HGV Fitter to join their skilled team at their modern workshop in Sittingbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and qualified fitter to work with a large, diverse fleet of HGVs, keeping vehicles compliant, safe, and fully operational. Key responsibilities :
• Diagnose faults and repair HGVs, trailers, and fleet equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance and service tasks
• Perform road tests and emergency call-outs when needed
• Accurately maintain service records and paperwork
• Follow H&S procedures and ensure safe workshop practices What we’re looking for :
• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
• HGV Class 1 licence with CPC (desirable)
• Experience in a workshop / HGV fitter environment
• Knowledge of DAF trucks or waste sector vehicles is a plus
• Strong communication and time management skills Shift options :
• Days : 6 : 30am–5pm (Saturdays on rota)
