About the role

We are seeking a Shift Vehicle Electrician to join us at our Olive Grove Depot in Sheffield. If you want to be part of an energetic team of engineers and maintenance staff working on our fleet of vehicles, this Electrician position could be perfect for you!

We welcome applications from individuals with at least a Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds levels 1 & 2) with proven on-the-job experience. If you are ex-military with an apprenticeship in engineering or an experienced engineer seeking a transition, we would love to hear from you.

• Diagnose vehicle faults and determine the appropriate repair methods and parts.
• Perform vehicle servicing.
• Be fully familiar with the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems, including engine management, automatic / semi-automatic gearboxes, electronic braking, suspension, electronic destinations, multiplex wiring systems, and E.C.U.
• Use diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, temperature gauges, micrometers, vernier gauges, and E.C.U. diagnostic computers.

We will provide your PPE and overalls.

We offer visa sponsorship for qualified skilled and experienced HGV / PSV mechanical engineers in the Sheffield region.

Hourly pay rate : £21.50 per hour
