Warehouse Operative

What are we looking for At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Warehouse Operative for our Distribution Center located in Sheffield , who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of. What you will do Unloading of Shipments, and ensure goods are in good condition and stored correctly with Warehouse Management System , and ensure the correct material is received to site. Thoroughly inspecting merchandise for any damages and discrepancies. Maintaining an accurate record of all merchandise received and distributed. Helping Perform Stock Checks and Management of the Material to ensure its correct. Use of Gantry Crane to move and store Material. Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly. Processing of Customer Sample Requests , Packaging and Preparation of these for internal and external clients. Strategically storing merchandise to maximize storage space within the warehouse. Promptly processing distribution orders or requests, which includes retrieving specified merchandise from storage as well as packing, sealing, and labeling merchandise accordingly. What you need to succeed Experience : Experience in a similar role at least 1 year is desirable. Knowledges : Ability to operate warehouse equipment (crane, forklift, etc).
