The role
As an Environmental Advisor, you will implement the environmental elements of the Babcock Rail compliance management system, including policies, risk assessments, procedures, and guidance notes, communicating these to internal and external parties.
Responsibilities include :
- Providing specialist advice on sustainability and environmental legislative and contractual compliance.
- Managing the project’s Environmental Management Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Environmental Risk Profile, and Aspects and Impact register.
- Developing a project-specific Environment and Sustainability Threats and Opportunities profile within the environmental management platform.
- Implementing and continuously improving the Babcock Rail compliance management system to meet ISO standards for the site.
This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, based on-site at Cadder Yard, Glasgow, with travel to other sites required.
Essential experience
Knowledge of Ecology or Environmental Advisory.Willingness to travel and a full UK driving license.Qualifications
