Role Overview

As an Operations Manager youll p rovide overall leadership for the Provide overall leadership for the Area Managers (repairs or service) and Technicians s including EH&S. Manage above teams in efficient and safe r esource allocation and delivery of excellent Customer Experience.

Daily responsibilities :

  • Engage coach and mentor the team of managers. Connecting with them to ensure that KPIs are achieved and to understand frustrations problems and issues coming through from the field.
  • Mentor service area managers around customer escalations and how best to engage with a team a field based mechanics / engineers.
  • Be the face of the business able to communicate professionally with customers putting them at the heart of what we do.
  • Support with P&L management able to direct your team to ensure maximum revenue generation.

Team Management

  • Coaching the field supervisors
  • Team meetings including weekly huddles
  • Performance Management and Development ( eg : Face to face 121s coaching training plans ER Cases)
  • Support hiring process with support of Talent Acquisition when necessary
  • Other line management and controls (expense approval time off)
  • Drive technology and process improvement adoption within team to support productivity and customer satisfaction
  • EHS (activities incl. reporting requirements and potential follow-ups) :

  • Lead and drive safety culture. Monitor completion and ensure field supervisor compliance inline with Otis safety policy.
  • Conduct required numberof Management Audits Vehicle Audits etc.
  • Role model and demonstrate unwavering commitment to The Absolutes in all daily work decisions and in the environment created for your team.
  • Field Delivery KPIs

  • Drive and monitor actions for Field Supervisors to achieve KPIs (see KPIs) and respective activity inputs that lead to KPI delivery.
  • Compile field delivery forecasting
  • OT Financial Growth

  • Support and work closely with sales team and OT lead to encourage targeted business growth across all revenue streams.
  • Lead and participate in project contract reviews and SIP / MSIP
  • Support teams Debt action close out
  • Customer

  • Onsite customer meetings in collaboration with the Supervisors Account managers and OT lead
  • Drive completion of customer field related queries and lead respective customer escalations close out

    Proven track record of delivering operational results.

    Experience of operating with the ability to deliver quantifiable results.

    Good management experience

    Savvy adopter of technology and experienced user of MS Office and app / cloud-based tools
