FX Liquidity Analyst – FMX FX
About the Role
FMX FX is the electronic FX trading arm of FMX Global Markets, providing high-performance infrastructure for institutional participants across both anonymous and disclosed trading workflows. Our platform connects bank and non-bank liquidity providers with buy-side clients in real time, powering a seamless and dynamic marketplace.
We are seeking a technically skilled and market-aware analyst to join the liquidity team. You will work closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to monitor liquidity behavior, analyze trading data, and contribute to operational and strategic initiatives aimed at improving execution quality and client experience.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor FX liquidity profiles and depth metrics across currency pairs and sessions
- Flag and investigate unusual quote or trade activity using internal monitoring tools
- Support onboarding of new liquidity providers and clients, ensuring readiness from both a technical and operational standpoint
- Build and maintain dashboards or scripts to track latency, quote consistency, and fill performance
- Handle internal and client-facing requests for data insights, from time-series analysis to order book behavior
- Participate in the evolution of our automated liquidity tools by surfacing observations from real-world platform usage
- Collaborate with the product and sales teams to optimize maker / taker alignment and address liquidity gaps
- Join client discussions where needed to provide quantitative context on flow behavior and platform usage
What You Bring
1–3 years of experience in a financial markets, e-trading, or data analyst roleProficiency in Python, R, or KDB+ / q for data processing and visualizationFamiliarity with market microstructure, FX trading conventions, or order routing logicStrong analytical skills and a bias toward proactive problem solvingClear communicator who can explain technical findings to commercial or client teamsUndergraduate degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related quantitative fieldFamiliarity with SQL, Excel, or BI tools for reporting is a plusInterest in working at the intersection of trading systems, data, and customer experienceBonus Points For :
