Hinkley Point C is the UK’s first new build nuclear power station in a generation that is critical to the UK NetZero targets.

Accountabilities :
As a Project Planner, you’ll be part of a team delivering an exceptional, distinctive and consistent Operational planning experience, which creates an environment where our people can thrive and do their best work.
Key Responsibilities :
- To develop a professional and effective approach to operational Project planning
The Planner will contribute across all phases of an Dalkia Project :
Tender / Feasibility and Award Validation phaseDesign, Engineering and Procurement phaseBuild, maintain, review and monitor project programmesIdentify planning scope, constraints, and contract requirementsIdentify resourcing requirements with the Operations teamCreate, review and maintain Project Programmes in line with Imtech standardsUtilise the Dalkia Project Delivery System (PDS)Reconcile Dalkia and sub-contractor plant, labour & material requirementsSupport Project manager(s) offering technical knowledge on how to develop and implement an effective Project planMonitor and manage progress of Project team against programmeReview record keeping, administration, budgets and timeWork proactively with Project team manager and team to ensure projects are on trackProduce relevant reports for the Project ManagerPrepare presentations and data analysis working with Project Managers and subject matter experts as requiredProactive approach to liaison across the operation and with clients / suppliersPoint of contact for Planning issues & develop effective relationshipsAble to influence impact of planning through effective working relationshipsEmbrace latest methodology and challenge status quoGuide the Project manager with resource loadingDevelop own performance and effectiveness using feedback and in discussion with planning managerKnowledge

Level 4 HNC Qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent experienceConstruction Planning ExperienceGood level general education Good level of general educationCompetence in MS Project or Asta PowerprojectAdditional Qualifications / Experience :
Competence in Primavera P6Ideally 2 years of Construction project operations experience in a fast paced organisationSite experience in Mechanical or Electrical or other relevant discipline desirableExperience should include a focus on performance management and talent / team development, change management and leadership coaching, as a Business Partner.Working Pattern of Attendance and Location(s) :
