Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated support to the MD / Executive Director in respect to the management and development of existing and prospective global client relationships across the Consumer & Healthcare Sector
  • Take increased level of client responsibility and dialogue, acting as junior RM for a number of relationships, developing contact points at GT / MD level.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the key clients and industries within the Consumer & Healthcare Sector and use this understanding develop business plans aiming for more ambitious transactions and increased returns on capitalmitted
  • Demonstrate strong application of credit risk judgement, acting as the first line of defence in terms of the banks credit assessment including proactive interaction with credit analyst team; analysis of client financial performance and assessment of risks and mitigants for key transactions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal product partners and stakeholders including EMEA Management, EMEA Credit, Project & Structured Finance, FX and Rates, Capital Markets and Greenhill.
  • Prepare excellent quality pitch books working with the relevantmercial and Investment Banking product teams demonstrating corporate finance analysis and integrated solutions.
  • Support and take ownership for day-to-day account management including KYC, account plans, internal P&L data management, the preparation of ad-hot memos etc

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • University Degree or equivalent with professional qualifications
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, modelling knowledge and skills in corporate finance
  • Extensive experience within a top tier Corporate or Investment Bank
  • Solid understanding of the principles ofmodity traders and the industry
  • Ability to interpret and analyse corporate accounts
  • Experience in monitoring and managing global credit lines
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with both internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Team orientated with excellentmunication skills
  • Proven track record in desktop analysis and to possess a strong technical skill set
  • Knowledge & application of external data sources
  • Self motivating with the ability to lead and inspire others to perform
