Iconic Resourcing is excited to partner with a leading Scottish brand in their search for an exceptional individual to step into the role of Head of Business Reporting, Planning & Analysis for an initial 9-month fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in FP&A, business partnering, leading a team, and supporting M&A and other strategic projects.

Offering an excellent salary plus fantastic benefits, the role provides hybrid working for the duration of this initial contract.

Key Responsibilities :

As the Head of Business Reporting, Planning & Analysis, you will :

  • Strategically Lead Financial Planning : Own and oversee the company’s performance management processes, delivering financial insights that inform decision-making across the organization.
  • Deliver Excellence in Reporting : Ensure high-quality, actionable reporting for leadership, external stakeholders, and investors, with a focus on KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Champion Innovation : Drive the finance function’s agenda on automation, analytics, and data insights to enhance capabilities and efficiency.
  • Support Strategic Growth : Play a vital role in M&A activities, from identifying opportunities to integration, and lead initiatives supporting capital allocation and business planning.
  • Inspire and Develop Talent : Lead and develop a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Previous Experience :

We seek a fully qualified accountant (ICAS / ACCA / CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis. Knowledge of PLC reporting requirements and commercial acumen for engaging with senior stakeholders is essential. Proven leadership in team management, relationship building, and working within complex organizational structures is required. M&A experience would be a distinct advantage.
