About the Role

Platinum Recruitment, in partnership with a Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer in Farnborough, is seeking a skilled and reliable Finance Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities

Produce timely and accurate management accounts

Mentor team members in Purchase Ledger and Assistant Accountant roles

Manage and report from Keyloop DMS system

Drive month-end reporting to deadlines

Analyze and challenge reporting transactions

Prepare management accounts drafts

Handle statutory audits and taxes

Stock reporting and intercompany account reconciliation

Perform month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations

Manage supplier queries

Support process improvement projects

Review procedures for improvements

Provide ad-hoc reports and process improvements

Requirements

Accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Experience with Keyloop dealer management system

Motor trade experience, preferably with commercial vehicles (not essential)

Problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Excel and MS Office

Ability to learn new systems quickly

Proactive and solution-oriented

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Effective communication skills

Attention to detail

Team player and independent worker

Ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders
