Role : Maintenance Electrician - Cranes

Location : Middlesborough

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our cranes electrical team at Middlesborough. You will be part of a dynamic engineering team responsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, fault-finding, and repair of the port’s crane assets. These include mobile harbour cranes, rubber-tyred gantry cranes, and ship-to-shore container cranes.

You will respond to breakdowns and apply your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve faults safely and efficiently, minimizing disruption to port operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on crane assets
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across various crane systems
• Work with a range of electrical components and power supplies
• Respond to breakdowns and ensure minimal operational impact
• Maintain safe working practices, including safe isolation procedures
