Installation Technician

Kardex is seeking a full-time Installation Technician in the Midlands area to cover all of the UK.

As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing electro-mechanical equipment as part of an installation team. You will serve as a brand ambassador, embodying Kardex’s Core Values of Teamwork, Respect, Passion, and Reliability in all interactions with customers and colleagues. You will represent the Life Cycle Service department at customer sites across the region.

Your tasks

In this role, you must be flexible and dedicated to meeting customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through every interaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing and repairing electrical and mechanical capital equipment. We welcome applications from technicians with diverse backgrounds, as comprehensive product training will be provided.

Your responsibilities include :

• Providing high-quality customer service according to established policies.
• Communicating effectively with customers and the service desk at scheduled intervals.
• Reporting visits accurately using appropriate documentation or call trackers in a timely manner.
• Working independently while maintaining proper communication.
• Assisting colleagues as needed.
• Maintaining personal PPE and inspecting it regularly.
• Adhering to quality and health and safety standards.
