Job description

We are looking for a Database Software Test Analyst to join the Frontier team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fully homebased role, with expectation of travel to other sites when needed.

The successful candidate will be concerned with designing and executing test cases across various applications. You will w ork alongside the Test team to increase the test coverage within Agile deliveries and a ssist with creation of Regression test cases. You will r eport progress to the team Delivery Lead and the Software Test Manager

About You

ISEB / ISTQB Foundation certification required as a minimum

Batchelors degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalentdesired but not essential

5 yearsor more experience in software testing is required

5 years or more experience in database testing is required

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience of JIRA required

Experience of Zephyr desirable but not essential

Experience of Agile delivery required

Knowledge of SQL desirable but not essential

Experience working with APIs would be beneficial

Experience ofusing the Postmantool would bebeneficial

Ability to learn new systems quickly would be an advantage

Your Role

As a Database Software Test Analyst your role will involve :

Reviewing the business software requirements, providing feedback

Producing test cases and the supporting data for multiple applications

Supporting integrating applications with data creation

Prioritise test cases accordingly

Execute test cases and raise defects with the correct level of detail giving clarification or reproducingwhere required

Create and analyse test results and incorporate those into a test report

Work with other stakeholders and developers to take KT for applications

Ability to work within a delivery team but also able to work on own initiative

Assist and take direction from Test Manager where required

Report progress to the Test Manager
