Location : Hybrid (1-2 days Cambridge)

Type : Permanent

Salary : up to £95,000 + benefits

An innovative SaaS company in the healthtech space is looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join their growing engineering function. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on scaling infrastructure, improving automation, and supporting a secure and compliant deployment environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure for cloud and on-premise environments
Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub, and ArgoCD
Manage Kubernetes clusters with Helm and support container-based environments using Docker
Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible
Ensure security best practices across infrastructure and internal systems
Support compliance with ISO 9001, 27001, and 13485 standards including participation in audits
Manage business IT systems including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and hardware provisioning
Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to support product delivery and reliability

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of AWS and familiarity with other cloud providers

Proficiency in Linux systems, particularly Debian

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform

Skilled in scripting with shell or bash

Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk

Familiarity with SQL databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL

Understanding of IT service workflows and user provisioning

Experience supporting security reviews, tenders, and client assessments
