Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Secondary School | September Start

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career?

We are seeking a committed and proactive HLTA to join a dynamic secondary school from September 2025 .

Location :  Braintree

Start Date : September 2025

Contract : Full-time, Term Time Only

Salary : £90 - £130 per day

The Role :

• Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a range of subjects
• Deliver small group interventions and, where appropriate, lead full class sessions in the absence of a teacher
• Assist with planning and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs
• Provide targeted 1 : 1 support to students with SEND or additional needs
• Help maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour effectively
• Liaise with teaching staff to monitor student progress and support learning goals
