A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing business based in the Blackpool area!

The business is currently undergoing a cultural transformation, with major CAPEX investments planned over the next 12 to 18 months, making this a brilliant time to join and influence real change.

In this role, you’ll lead the shift engineering team to ensure machinery uptime, safe working practices, and high levels of reliability across all equipment. You’ll still be involved with hands-on maintenance while also being the go-to leader for daily planning, task delegation, and performance coaching.

Your Key Responsibilities Include :

• Leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the engineering team on shift.
• Carrying out hands-on maintenance (planned and reactive) on production machinery.
• Supporting CAPEX project delivery and CI initiatives.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the correct standards.
• Coaching and developing team members to support a positive engineering culture.
• Working closely with production and technical teams to maximise output and minimise downtime.
