Job description

Due to growth in service, we are seeking an outstanding Student Support Worker with relevant qualifications (GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent) and experience working with students in a school environment. Responsibilities include :

  • Supporting students with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties in line with the school’s ethos and the SEN Code of Practice.
  • Contributing to the safeguarding ethos by adhering to the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Implementing structured learning activities and programmes, adapting them based on student responses, and providing feedback to teachers.
  • Supporting the use of ICT in learning activities and helping students develop their competence and independence in its use.
  • Assisting in lesson planning, resource management, and development of lesson plans.
