Job descriptionCandidates must be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ 3 in a relevant trade; FIA industry standard qualifications, Electrical 18th Edition wiring regulations, Safe Isolation, Small Works Certificate, or currently undertaking these qualifications. Original certification proof is required at interview; copies and CSCS cards are not accepted. The role
Fire and Security Operative will include :
- Carrying out the servicing, remedial works, and installation of fire alarms, extinguishers, and security systems, including warden call
- Maintaining systems such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire shutters, and curtains to ensure safe and compliant properties
- Resolving problems or initiating solutions, and keeping customers informed
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and stocks are replenished as needed
