United Worldwide Logistics has grown from a family-run operation to a dynamic logistics company with over 70 employees and 3 depots across the UK. We specialise in time-critical transport, including performance vehicle delivery, import / export, and same-day solutions.

We’re now looking for an experienced, driven and hands-onGeneral Manager to work directly alongside the Managing Director as the business continues to scale. This is a rare opportunity to step into a key leadership role with real influence, autonomy, and responsibility across the full operation.

Your Role

As General Manager, you’ll be the MD’s right hand — someone who can be trusted to take initiative, make decisions, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll :

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all three depots
• Manage and support department leads (transport, admin, HR, accounts, customer service)
• Drive performance, efficiency, and accountability across the business
• Identify and resolve issues before they land on the MD’s desk
• Represent the company with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Be across everything — from staffing and customer care to compliance and commercial strategy
