Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location : Ormskirk, L39

Start Date : September 2025

Contract Type : Temporary, Long Term

Working Hours : Full-time, 8 : 30 am – 3 : 30 pm

Pay : Paid to scale

Responsibilities :

• Assisting with lessons : Helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons.
• Behaviour management : Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.
• Providing emotional support : Offering guidance and support to students who may be dealing with personal issues or stress.
• Monitoring well-being : Keeping an eye on students’ overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
• Safeguarding : Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required
• Collaboration : work closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and students thrive academically and socially.
