We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operative to join a small but growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the efficient running of their production operations, ensuring that the products are assembled and packaged correctly, and orders are fulfilled to a high standard.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operative to join a small but growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the efficient running of their production operations, ensuring that the products are assembled and packaged correctly, and orders are fulfilled to a high standard.

Production Duties

  • Assembly Duties : Assist in the assembly or production of items as per company specifications.
  • Quality Checks : Perform routine quality control checks to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Packaging : Ensure products are packaged securely and correctly, following instructions and guidelines.
  • Equipment Operation : Operate production machinery or tools (training provided, if necessary).

Essential

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a production environment
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Physically fit, able to lift and carry heavy items if / when required.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to take on varied tasks.

    • Desirable

  • Experience within a warehouse environment
  • Forklift license or experience
  • Basic knowledge of production processes or machinery.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and good working with hands.

    • Any warehouse experience, picking, packing and Reach Forklift would be an advantage but not essential for this role as the position will lean mostly on the production / assembly side.

  • Physical Demands : This role involves physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

  • Day Shift : Monday to Thursday 07 : 45 16.00 Fridays 07 : 45 14 : 45.
  • 13.33p / h (26k per annum)
