Maths Teacher

Job Title : Maths and Science Teacher Area : Ealing, West London Start Date : September 2025 Contract Type : Full-Time, Permanent Salary : £170-£260 per day (depending on experience) Working hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am-4 : 00pm Brief description : Teach Maths and Science to secondary pupils in a supportive specialist education setting. About the school : Independent specialist school for students aged 5-21 with social, emotional and mental health needs and moderate learning difficulties. The school provides tailored academic pathways with integrated therapeutic support. About the role : Deliver high-quality Maths and Science lessons across KS3 to KS5. Foster engagement, encourage critical thinking, and support students in achieving academic progress and confidence in STEM subjects. We're looking for a dedicated candidate to : Plan and teach engaging Maths and Science lessons Support differentiated learning and individual progress Promote positive behaviour and classroom management Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEN teams Participate in enrichment and intervention activitiesRequirements - The ideal candidate would have : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) Experience teaching Maths and / or Science Understanding of SEMH and SEND environments Strong subject knowledge and communication skills Passion for inclusive and therapeutic educationOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business / education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
