Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 driver for our client based in Sheffield (S9) for ongoing work, Mon-Fri.

17.93 per hour

Please note, this includes advanced holiday pay

Shifts / Start times

0500-0800 start times

10-12 hours per shift

Monday to Friday

Opportunity to work weekend shifts as extra

2 / 3 Deliveries of cages to Hospitals

Main Duties will include :

Securing cages

Delivering / Collecting cages of Linen

prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Lifting / unloading goods from the vehicle using a tail-lift

The Candidate :

Have an up to date CPC and TACO

Have at least 6 months experience as a Class 1 Driver

A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements

Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
