Locum Occupational Therapist

3-month contract | Flexible Working | 30 hours / week | £32 / hour

Reablement Team – Bromley Council

Bromley Council’s Adult Social Care Service is seeking a dedicated Locum Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Reablement Team on a 3-month contract. This role offers flexible working hours, making it an ideal opportunity to balance your work and personal commitments while making a meaningful difference to Bromley residents.

Key details :

  • Role : Locum Occupational Therapist
  • Contract : 3 months
  • Hours : 30 hours per week
  • Hourly Rate : £32 / hour
  • Location : Bromley Borough – Reablement Team
  • Flexible working arrangements : 2 days in office and 3 days working from home
  • Expenses : Can claim back miles / travel to visits

About the role :

  • Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for standard equipment and minor adaptations
  • Completing assessments with reablement senior support workers in relation to reablement interventions and goal planning
  • Triaging of reablement cases
  • Assessing for and providing specialist equipment, including seating
  • Completing Moving and Handling Assessments
  • About you :

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
  • Occupational Therapy Diploma / Degree
  • Previous experience in reablement, community, or adult social care settings
  • Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
