Are you a passionate and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and forward-thinking team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Care Direct Plus South in Newton Abbot.

About the Role

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will :

  • Assess adults with a range of disabilities and health conditions, enabling them to live as independently and safely as possible.
  • Use a strengths-based approach to promote independence, providing advice, equipment, minor and major adaptations, rehousing support, and care recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with our Moving & Handling Review Specialist OT to develop skills in care review and risk management.
  • Manage your own diverse and rewarding caseload, providing a person-centred service within the framework of local government policy and legislation.
  • Be committed to equality, diversity, and achieving positive outcomes for the people of South Devon.
