Are you a skilled Site Services Engineer looking to step into a business that’s genuinely going places?

We’re working with a well-known brand that’s investing heavily in its site infrastructure and facilities. As part of that journey, we’re looking for an experienced Site Services Engineer to join their established engineering function — someone who thrives on solving problems, takes pride in keeping a site running safely and efficiently, and has a good understanding of the moving parts that make a busy production environment tick.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of site services equipment including boilers, air handling units (AHUs), chillers, compressors, water treatment , steam and utilities systems.
  • Supporting the upkeep and improvement of critical infrastructure that keeps production running — including site BMS, HVAC systems, cooling towers, DI and process water, and effluent treatment plants.
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding across mechanical and electrical plant.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and supporting audits and inspections.
  • Playing a key role in reliability improvements, energy efficiency initiatives , and continuous improvement projects.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Proven experience in a Site Services, Facilities or Utilities Engineering role — ideally within the FMCG, food, or general manufacturing sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, steam systems, chilled water, compressed air, and water treatment plant.
  • Electrical or mechanical qualification (NVQ, C&G, HNC / HND or similar).
  • Confident communicator who’s happy working closely with contractors and internal teams alike.
  • A proactive mindset — you’ll be someone who doesn’t wait for things to go wrong before making improvements.
